Important Notice: This document is a translation of the original French version. In case of discrepancies, the French version shall prevail.

General Terms of Use (GTU)

Data: refers to all information, files, publications, audio and video recordings, and any other content generated, collected, or stored by the Client in connection with the use of the Services. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Personal Data: information related to an identified or identifiable natural person, such as names, addresses, online identifiers, and any other data that can be used to recognize an individual.

  • Operational Data: information related to the Client's business processes, such as operating procedures, screenshots, interactive guides, and any other content automatically generated by SNIIVE.

  • Performance Data: metrics and analyses related to the use of the Services, including usage statistics, activity logs, and other analytical data.

  • Content Generated by Artificial Intelligence: any text, image, video, or other production created or modified by SNIIVE's algorithms.

  • Configuration Data: settings, preferences, and other software configurations defined by the Client or its Users.

Client: refers to any natural or legal person who has accepted the GTC and is acting within the scope of their professional activity.

GTC: refers to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, which govern the provision of Services by the Provider, particularly SNIIVE. They define the rights and obligations of the parties, as well as payment terms, liability, and termination.

GTU: refers to these General Terms of Use, which define and govern the conditions of use of SNIIVE and determine the respective rights and obligations of the User and the Provider in the context of its use.

Provider or Sniive: refers to the company Sniive, providing the Services to the Client in accordance with the GTC and whose information is listed in the legal notices.

Site: refers to the website sniive.com operated by the Provider.

SNIIVE: refers to the SaaS software, entitled SNIIVE, provided by the Provider, enabling the Client to use the features defined in the GTC, including screen and audio recording as well as the generation of interactive documentation and guides.

Identifiers: refer to both the user's own identifier ("login") and the connection password ("password").

User: refers to the person under the Client's responsibility (employee, representative, etc.) who has access to the Services on their computer under the license contracted by the Client. Any obligation under the GTC and GTU imposed on the Client must be respected by the User.

Service: refers to all the services, including the provision of SNIIVE, offered by the Provider.

Artificial Intelligence: refers to algorithms, machine learning models, and stochastic models.

Privacy and Personal Data Processing Policy: the document available at the section /privacy describing the Client and User's privacy and personal data processing policy by the Provider.

Content Generated by Artificial Intelligence: refers to any text, image, video, sound, or other production created or substantially modified by Artificial Intelligence.

Authorization Token: refers to a digital object used to verify the identity and permissions of a User when accessing SNIIVE, ensuring security and access control.

Recording: refers to the screen and audio recording by the User through SNIIVE.

Recorded Persons: refers to a natural person visible (on the screen) or audible (in the audio) during a Recording.


Effective Date: July 12, 2024

These general terms of use govern the use of services provided by Sniive.

By using the Service, the Client fully accepts these GTU.

In case of non-acceptance of the GTU stipulated in this contract, the Client must renounce access to the Services offered by the site.

Sniive reserves the right to unilaterally modify the content of these GTU at any time.

Article 1 - Access to the site

1.1 Service Description

The Sniive website (sniive.com) provides the User access to the following Services:

  • Tools to assist in the creation of documentation or operating procedures.

  • Tools to assist in knowledge maintenance and visualization of analytical data.

1.2 Accessibility

The site is freely accessible from any location to any User with internet access. All costs incurred by the User to access the service (computer equipment, software, internet connection, etc.) are at their expense.

Non-registered Users do not have access to the Service. To do so, they must register. By agreeing to register for the Service, the User commits to providing sincere and accurate information regarding their identity and contact details, particularly their email address.

To access the services, the User must then identify themselves using their Identifier and password or using an Authorization Token.

Any registered User can also request to unsubscribe by visiting the dedicated page on their personal space. This will take effect within a reasonable time.

Any event due to a case of force majeure resulting in a site or server malfunction, and subject to any interruption or modification in case of maintenance, does not engage Sniive's responsibility. In these cases, the Client agrees not to hold the publisher responsible for any service interruption or suspension, even without prior notice.

Article 2 - Data collection

The site ensures the collection and processing of personal information respecting privacy in accordance with Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, relating to data processing, files, and freedoms.

Article 3 - Intellectual property

The User must obtain prior authorization from Sniive for any reproduction, publication, or copy of different contents. They commit to using the site's content strictly for private purposes; any commercial or advertising use is strictly prohibited.

Any total or partial representation of this site by any means, without the express authorization of the site operator, would constitute an infringement punishable under Article L 335-2 and following of the Intellectual Property Code.

Article 4 – Responsibilities

4.1 Responsibilities of the User and the Client

The User agrees to use the Service in accordance with the GTU and applicable laws, including:

  • Complying with all applicable laws, particularly, but not limited to, laws on privacy and intellectual property.

  • Using the Service ethically and for professional purposes.

  • Ensuring that their password is kept secret. Any disclosure of the password, in any form, is prohibited. They assume the risks related to the use of their identifier and password. The site disclaims all responsibility. The login identifier is personal, confidential, and non-transferable to third parties. The User is the holder of the account created and accesses it through their login identifier.

The User guarantees they have full legal capacity to register and use the Services, and in particular:

  • Not being a competitor of Sniive and/or not registering and using the Services to fraudulently compete with Sniive and/or harm Sniive's interests.

The Client agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Provider, its affiliates, its directors, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, damage, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from or related to:

  • The User's use of the Services.

  • Any violation of applicable laws and regulations by the User.

  • Any claim related to the unauthorized recording of sensitive or confidential data.

4.2 Sniive's Responsibility

Sniive commits to:

  • Providing the Services in accordance with the terms of the GTU.

  • Protecting the confidentiality of the User's data, in compliance with GDPR standards.

The sources of the information disseminated on the Site are deemed reliable, but the Site does not guarantee that it is free of defects, errors, or omissions.

The information provided is indicative and general, without contractual value. Despite regular updates, the Site cannot be held responsible for changes in administrative and legal provisions occurring after publication. Likewise, the site cannot be held responsible for the use and interpretation of the information contained on this site.

Sniive's responsibility cannot be engaged in cases of force majeure or due to the unpredictable and insurmountable act of a third party.

Sniive cannot be held responsible for temporary difficulties or impossibilities in accessing the Services due to circumstances outside its control, force majeure, or disruptions in telecommunications networks.

Sniive cannot be held responsible for unforeseen events such as cyber-attacks, security breaches in data transmission, or performance guarantees regarding data transmission volume and speed. In these conditions, it is the Users' responsibility to take appropriate measures to protect their data and/or software, particularly from possible viruses circulating on the Internet.

Article 5 - Hyperlinks

Hyperlinks may be present on the site. The User is informed that by clicking on these links, they will leave the Site. The latter has no control over the web pages to which these links lead and cannot, under any circumstances, be held responsible for their content.

Article 7 – Non-compliance with obligations, applicable law, and competent jurisdiction

In the event of non-compliance with the obligations arising from the acceptance of the GTU, or acts likely to harm Sniive's interests, the latter reserves the right to suspend access to the Services without notice or, depending on the severity of the acts, to delete the User's account without any compensation being claimed.

French law applies to this document. In the absence of an amicable resolution of a dispute arising between the parties, the French courts will have sole jurisdiction.
